 | 01:42 am - Music Meme Redux Possible sign that I might already own more music that I can ever hope to listen to...
I was looking back at this post, and I can't even remember the names of some of the songs....from my own collection!
Good thing I saved the answers in a separate private post :)

 | 10:27 pm Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the USSA. (That's United SOCIALIST States of America, for those of you too stupid to get it...aka the same ones of you that gave us this mess.)
I make the following 100% guaranteed predictions for the next 2 years: 1. If you currently pay any taxes whatsoever, your taxes will go up. 2. If you work at all, some portion of your pay will be taken away from you and given to someone too damn lazy to do anything whatsoever. 3. Barring a minor miracle, gas will probably be $6/gal. 4. Your electric bill will probably double. 5. Lots of greedy lawyers will get significantly richer. 6. Crime will increase. 7. Freedoms will be taken away.
The only thing that may save the country as we know it is the filibuster - provided, of course, that the Republicans in the Senate, including the absolute suckiest Republican presidential nominee of my lifetime, quit worrying about what the drive-by media thinks of them and actually stand up for what's right.
Gets off soap box and goes back to looking for "Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Palin" bumper stickers

 | 08:14 am Sometime in the next 24 hours, we'll know whether the next four years will be frustrating or just plain awful.
If you still haven't decided, or you're leaning Obama because you don't like McCain, then you owe it to yourself to read the last few entries in Randy Alcorn's blog before you go to the polls.
Yes, McCain is nowhere near being that great a candidate. Don't think of it that way. Think of it like this: A vote for McCain is a vote for the rights of thousands of children in the next generation to live. A vote for Obama is a vote for infanticide.

 | 04:53 pm I am now officially a supporter of federal term limits. I can think of 74 Senators and 263 Representatives that have been in Washington too long and need to be kicked out as soon as possible.
For those of you who still don't know the truth about this so called "crisis", some folks with too much time on their hands put together a pretty funny video about it at DailyMotion. Current Mood: pissed off

 | 05:05 pm - This is the solution...

'nuff said.

 | 10:34 am - Two days until the only day of the year that gives a command... As much as it pains me to admit, I'm starting to think that the liberals are right about the bulk of the population of this country being a bunch of stupid morons. How else do you explain the fact that all four of the remaining legitimate candidates for president (among both parties) absoultey suck?
Those of you that think you want Hillary/Obama Care might want to check out how the average surgery wait times and cancer survival rates in the countries that already have socailized medicine compare to ours. Do you REALLY want the same people who run the DMV in charge of your health?

 | 01:20 pm - Human Events Endorses Fred Thompson Human Events (one of the nation's top conservative magazines, for those of you haven't heard of it before) has endorsed Fred Thompson for president. Everyone planning to vote in a Republican primary this year, especially those of you who think you support Huckabee, McCain, Gulliani, or Ron Paul, needs to give their editorial a read:
HUMAN EVENTS Endorses Fred Thompson

 | 03:00 am - Eight Isn't Enough The SEC could have three bowl-eligible teams sitting at home for the holidays - no small feat for a league with a whopping 8 bowl tie-ins. With all the craziness that has been the 2007 college football season (and a lot of help from the 12 game season), something unbelievable might just happen... the SEC could have 11 bowl-eligible teams by the season's end.
Six teams have already met the six win threshold of eligibility (with the surprising part being that Tennessee and Florida are not in that six). Another five are sitting just one win away with five wins.
My favorite part of it all? The one (and potentially only) SEC team eliminated from eligibility is OLE MISS.
( More after the cut... )

 | 02:27 am - Div III Madness - Trinity @ Millsaps I can't decide what's crazier about this play - that it actually happend, or that it was my wife's alma matter that did it...
http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3083220&categoryId=2564308
Two observations... 1) This play looked dead at least five times and still kept going 2) You've got to figure that the Millsaps defense is going to get really, really sick of tackle drills this week.
